The Rosminian parish in Mombo town, Tanzania, has just completed a project at the dressmaking training centre. The project has been funded over the last year with thanks to the support of all our generous donors and Misean Cara in Ireland. The aim of the project was to improve the quality of training, with the purchase of new machines, and to recruit an additional trainer. Both of these were achieved!
Seven girls from the area are attending the training centre, and four more have enrolled for the new year, which started in January 2026. Madam Rosa (in photo) is the head trainer, and has served at the centre for almost 20 years. Thanks also to the Usambara Sisters who collaborate with the Rosminians in running the centre.
